Weight off my chest
good night's sleep.
My surgery was a breeze, the nurses couldn't get over me. I was smiling,
really alert and chatting away. I had to wait 2 hours for my friend to come
get me, so did a lot of chatting. They were so nice, when I left they all hugged
me and wished me a speedy recovery and that I beat my cancer habit ...
I am really hopeful. AND........it's embarrassing but I don't care we share pretty
much everything on here so here it goes, I got my period again it's been
about 10 months without. Never thought I would be happy about that = )
Thanks everyone for being there and inspiring me with you beautiful posts.
Hugs,
Ayse

I missed it too, glad things went well. Many times surgery brings on a woman's period. I remember when I went through it the first time, I was glad to get it back, the second time not so much so although I have heard it can I hope it doesnt!!!0 -

Great news!So glad you got those expanders out & your exchange surgery went well. Rest and hugs my friend
-i really got the short end of the stick when it comes to chemo side effects, i hear all the time about your periods stopping when you're on chemo but mine have been here the whole time! i did actually just have a procedure that basically removes the lining of the uterus -i've had terrible problems with mother nature every month since I had my youngest baby Lia, my Dr recommended this procedure & said that alot of women don't even have their periods anymore, and those that do only have light spotting & he said i can kiss those cramps goodbye!
enjoy your soft new boobies, i can't WAIT for mine
*hugs*

Aaaah, for the first time in a long time, I woke up a little dizzy and nauseous
but not feeling like I was hit by a truck! I love it.
So I am taking it easy today, watching movies and eating frozen grapes. It's my
new favorite snack. You should try it, just put the grapes in the freezer and it
makes for a tasty and refreshing snack.
All four fur-babies ( love that term ) and my neighbor's dog are sprawled out
around me, purring and using their magic healing powers on me. So it's very cozy.
I should be and running in no time.
