Okay, going to Stanford, don't know the date, but am going, was approved.
Since couldn't get in through tumor board, my onc has generously referred me to an oncologist at Stanford, who has agreed to see me and then can take me before tumor board.
YEA!!!!!!

So very glad that you have a persistant doctor and that you will get to Stanford after all.
Just goes to show that ya gotta keep fighting.
Best of luck with the appointment and hope that you will get good treatment there.

Marie SORRY FOR ALL THE POSTINGS..FROZEN COMPUTER!!!
Good luck at Stanford. Do you mind me asking which Doc you are going to see? My husband has been treated ther for his colon cancer and metastasis. You are in good hands. I worked there for many years and now work on welch Road across the street.

Great News! I am finding out
Great News! I am finding out just how fast these University Hospitals work...once you get in a door! Contrats again and we will all be anxious to hear what they have to say! I got booted of the trial I was on at UCSF as my tumor grew by 35%, well past the acceptable 20%, but fortunatly I am still healthy and will see a new Dr. on Oct. 1 about a choosing a new trial. It's scary, but it's what I can do! I will be thinking about you and please know how much you are thought of. Jean0
