    It's so hard
    not to be discouraged. So many bad outcomes on this board of late. I am almost to the point where I'm afraid to log on. Please know that your fight has been courageous and you have helped so many with your postings. I have enjoyed knowing you and want you to know you are a blessing to us all.     I have thought so much about you in recent days and have been praying. I do hope you will not be too uncomfortable. You sound like you have peace with the situation. You have been so much fun to read, and you are so inspirational. I will miss your presence tremendously on the board.

    Since you will (it seems) not be here at that time, I will tell you that when my Relay For Life team has its annual talent show in the spring, I have plans to pick a special song and dedicate it to the semi-colons we have lost. I am going to name each one and say a little about the person. Don't know which song yet. Believe me, your name is not one I want to have on that list.

    I dont want to give up and I dont want you to give up...praying for you...there just arent any words to describe how horrible this is, such a shame, a young man like yourself...I still want to know WHY???

    Eric it was so hard to read your post. I have a son that is a yr older than you. I have been so blessed to know you and have been in awe of your strength and wisdom You have been such an encouragement to me and so many others. You and your mom are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that you have peace and comfort and that you know how very much you are loved! Continually praying for you.

    Eric, You are an incredible person and have made a difference in so many lives, including mine. Thank you for your time spent sharing your life with us. Sharing information, support, humor, good times, and bad times with us. I am better prepared to take on my fight again thanks to you. While your life will be shorter than many, too short, unfairly too short, you've made a difference in a lot of lives in the time you've been here.

    You are loved and will be missed greatly. I pray that you are kept from too much pain as you spend the end saying goodbye to friends and family. I pray for strength and peace for your mother too. And for all of us, as you are family to us too. We need strength to help us through this very sad time sayihg goodbye.

    Rest well, friend. You fought hard and deserve your rest.
