    Hi Eric,

    I am hoping and praying you are wrong- you will be missed so very much.
    But, if it is true, that the end of your life here on earth is coming to an end, then embrace the Lord and rest in his peace, as I know He is embracing you. You are going to an amazing place. Know that you have touched many lives and hearts here and your memory will live on with many people.

    The world is a better place for having you here to give of yourself so openly and freely. We can only hope we have returned some of that to you.

    There is no better legacy or purpose in life than what you have contributed. You have touched our hearts, our minds, and our souls.

    Dearest Eric: I just came limpin home from the cabin in the woods.....afraid really to open this site and find pain.....Eric I am so sorry it has come to this. You are such a trouper and have brought so much to this forum. I will get into bed soon and just plain send thoughts hugs energy your way

    I know that you don't know me. I have been lurking for months now and have been following your posts and your valiant battle. I wanted to let you know that you have touched my life. I am sorry that you had to have this disease but, you did it with such humanity right out there for all to see, making it easier for me to see myself finding the strength I need.

    I remember reading your post where you were dreaming of roller skating with Donna while she wore a yellow polka dot tie. It really stood out for me and I’d like to think of the 2 of you doing just that. Sometimes we know things way before we acknowledge them. Thank you for being here and being you. … Lori

    I have no words to express my sadness,but I am not giving up,I just came from church and all I was asking God was for a miracle for you, you have been a very special person for me,but if it is not God's will to keep you here I feel at peace knowing that you are a true believer, and that you know that there is something better wating for all of us.

    Eric, I have looked for your posts and answered many. You are a champion in my book! I am sorry it has come to this. You are and have been a fighter and a great friend to all on this board.

    I wish there was something to give you and everyone on this board more hope. Keep posting if you can. You will always be in my heart, Eric as one of the good guys. Love to you and your mom. I am sure this is so hard for her. Paula

    Eric, You were diagnosed just two months after my husband (he was 35) and I feel like you are my family. I thank you for helping me through this journey more than you will ever know. You are a man of grace.

    I really have no words to express my feelings, but dude, if anyone has shown dignity, it is you. You're still close to my heart and we all love you. Funny how you can love someone you've never met, isn't it? Leave the back door open a crack, will you? Give Donna and all the others hugs from us and know you'll always be remembered for your wise advice and caring replies.
