Ours is quite a ways off yet but just touching base. Anyone else?

    I can't wait!
    It's so nice in October in Texas and Boerne is such a quaint little town! They have the best desserts at the Bear Moon Bakery.

    Hope you will be able to attend but understand if you can't. Letting everyone know early so they can make plans. Some people don't sign in every often.

    Hi Marcia
    I am one of those that can't post often, my plate has been full since my clean mammo in March '10, did have lymphedema and I am dealing with the SE's of hormone therapy on a daily basis, but mostly been so busy with regular things. Took care of family member for 2 months, then husband's heart problems popped up, then daughter's surprise wedding, just stuff that kept me from being here on the boards, and I sure do miss that, I had no pc access unless I was at home, and so on and so on. I have marked the date on my calendar and sure plan to be there.
    Right now we are planning a month long road trip to visit kids, grands, and greatgrands, wow, I am already tired and have not left yet. Should be back home in October. I will pm you with me e-mail address, would you please send me an e-mail if changes occur with the date or place ?

    Hey Marcia. Just got home from a two month stay in Ruidoso, NM, and catching up with all the news. October 23, unfortunately, is a bad date for me. We will be celebrating a 70th birthday for our best friend, and have had these plans in the works for at least a year. Would love to meet everyone close to here, so let me know if dates change.     We'll miss you too Kathi! But Ft. Worth is a 5 hour drive anyway. Texas is a big state. I read this in a magazine: "The sun has riz, the sun has set, and we ain't out of Texas yet." This is referring to a car trip because Texas is so large.

    I hope so ... I'm thinking about flying in from So. California to join you ladies .. ? - I would so love to meet you 'all'. Found a ticket for $178.00 round trip to Dallas Ft Worth ... is this airport around your meeting area ?? If not, please let me know. My husband is giving me 2 trip tickets for our meets ... as an early christmas gift!

    How wonderful! But Dallas is 5 hours away! San Antonio is the closest large airport. Can you get cheap tickets here too?
