Louann near death: FINAL UPDATE

"Diane
With heavy heart I write this. I went to visit my dear friend Lou Ann and she has no reflex to touch or sound. She is breathing through the mouth and her urine has blood in it. She told Dave last night she was ready to go home. She is either lethargic or in coma, I would venture to say the later coma. She is resting peacefully and in my heart she is home we are just waiting for her body to catch up. I will be over at her house again tomorrow evening and once I have an update I will let you know. I am not ready to let her go but I know I wll see her again one day when we meet in heaven . Kathy "

    Thoughts for Lou Ann
    I hate that Lou Ann is near death, but I pray she isn't suffering. She had been a wonderful addition to this board and will be missed terribly. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

    Louann once told me, I am not afraid of death, I know where I am going. She is a deeply religious, faithful person, and was not afraid. I wish you a pain free journy my friend.

    I recall her saying that before
    I just read a different thread before I saw this one. It saddens me to know Louann is moving on sooner than she would have without cancer. But I'm glad she'll be in no pain, and that she had already made peace with death.

    From Louann's husband's family:

    We got a call a little bit ago and they have only given Louann 36 hours. Please keep them in your prayers. Her husband called his mother to let her know. mama talked to my cousin and he said that Louann said she is ready to go home. He said she was always sick on her stomach and that nothing was doing any good. He is doing ok and said they are ready to let her go home.

    How do we Cope?
    I am very sadden that yet another is not going to be with us anymore, I read post back as early as jan.and she was hopefull she had beat this cancer she was excited that by july her battle would be over, What happened? Why

    I am very sorry for her family and I hope they found something to make sense of this.

    is a very important person on this board. Prominent.

    I love her faith she has in God. She will be with him and those that went before her. Love to her and her family. Prayers are always being said for her.

    How cruel this disease is. The only comfort is knowing she will be free from it and can be at peace. (How I hate cancer!!!!!)
