Had PET/CT Friday.... Please send good Vibes/Prayers for Clear Results

July 1st is a big day for me. First thing that morning I get my PET/CT results. I am so praying I am still in remission. My results from that will decide if I am keeping my second appoinment that day.... which is with a plastic surgeon.

I have lost a few pounds... 84 to be exact... and I am working on the last 20 or so. However, all that fat missing has caused all this excess skin hanging heavily on my waist and inside thighs. I want all that nasty stuff cut off. Every time I tuck in a shirt I have to tuck in a layer of skin first.... I know... nice visual huh??? LOL That skin hanging on my legs is actually pulling so hard it is breaking veins. Just want it gone.

Last time I seen Onc we discussed it and he referred me to this plastic surgeon. However, if this PET comes back with ANY recurrance..... There goes my dream of getting this nasty crap cut off me. So please.... can ya'll say a special prayer.... or just send me some good vibes. I so want this and if that stupid cancer crap gets in my way I am going to be super bummed.

Yes, I am making Cancer sound second and what i want FIRST..... screw cancer...it has got it's way long enough!!!

    I will be praying for you,and sending you strong vibes.You hang in there and kick that cancers butt.Maybe you should get that plastic surgery anyway,it will probably help you feel better,without the extra skin.Good luck.

    Wishing you nothing but the best outcome from your recent scans. Your plate has been very full lately so you are really due for some really good news.

    Congrats on losing all that weight, not an easy thing to do. Hopefully, you will be able to now move forward with the plastic surgery you want and so very much deserve. You are a star in my book, hanging skin or not. You are alive, you beat down the monster and give the rest of the Stage IV's much hope.

    I think it's awesome you've lost all that weight! I've been trying to lose a lot less than that and have been somewhat unsuccessful. Hope you get the all clear first of all, and then I hope you have successful plastic surgery. I'll be praying for you!

    Prayers being said for good results on the scan. Hoping that you keep that second appointment for the surgeon. Sure you will feel so much better about having all that extra skin off. Congratulations on the weight loss that is a lot to lose. Keep us informed about the test.

    I am saying a prayer right now for excellent scan results. I know you deserve a break this time! And as for the weight loss, congratulations! That is amazing and you deserve to put the skin issue first. Go see that plastic surgeon. Just do it!
