Good For you! Thanks for describing the great time you had~ it is certainly emotionally charged, isn't it? But the fellow-feeling is a joy and it makes us even more determined to be part of Finding a Cure!
Hugs,
Chen♥
WTG Beth! I am so happy that you had such a great time! I haven't been to one yet, as, I am kind of scared too.
Got pics of it?

Thanks, Beth, for sharing with all of us. I remember all to well my first walk last year.....very emotional. It was well worth it and I will participate again this year.
Thanks everybody for your posts! It was an amazing time and I'm still basking in the memory. I've posted a couple of pictures on my expressions page - so you can check them out! For those who are worried about attending - I felt the same way. I took a whole box of tissues knowing that I would probably totally lose it. And I did sniffle my way through parts of the event - but it was good sniffling. Now I found out that ACS is trying to begin a cancer support group in our small town - at our local hospital. A luncheon is planned for those interested to be held later this week. I'm thinking of attending. I've had it in mind to offer through our church a faith-based BC support group. I don't think there's anything like that at all in our community.
Please pray about this for me.
Many thanks - and blessings/love to all!
