Hi all,
I am looking forward to August to reach my 5 year cancer free mark.
I had two tumors, the whole left side of colon removed, 6 months FOLFOX.
All is good except some numb toes.

Rectal cancer stage T3N1, November of 2004 at age 44
Stage IV, April 2006, tumors now in both lungs, liver and several nodes around the heart and currently on a Cmet(arq 197)/Erbitux/CTP11 clinical trial out of MD Anderson.
I don't worry about it anymore. When they tell me I have a few days to live, then I will worry about cancer. Until then, I'm living, not dying.0 -

Aside from chemotherapy, I'll guess he will be getting some tests -- blood, CT or PET scan, maybe others, to access how well the chemo is working. Other than that, just watching and waiting. I would take the surgeon's decisive action against the tumors as a hopeful sign.
