I am so sorry about your friend. Is she actively dying, like right now? Can she get to a pain management/palliative care specialist physician?
My mom is now under the care of one in a palliative care unit and he has changed her drugs around a lot and not only is she painfree for the first time in a long time, she is not as dopey and confused either.
God bless and best wishes for you and your friend.0 -

Thank you Augigi, My friend died this passed Sunday. She was in horrible pain for the past 10 months. I have breast cancer and I just always thought that pain could be controlled. Thank you for getting back to me.0
