I am so sorry about your friend. Is she actively dying, like right now? Can she get to a pain management/palliative care specialist physician?

My mom is now under the care of one in a palliative care unit and he has changed her drugs around a lot and not only is she painfree for the first time in a long time, she is not as dopey and confused either.

God bless and best wishes for you and your friend.

Thank you Augigi, My friend died this passed Sunday. She was in horrible pain for the past 10 months. I have breast cancer and I just always thought that pain could be controlled. Thank you for getting back to me.
