Need to vent another recurrence

I need to vent my cancer have come back in my left hip. I was just diagnosis in April that I have bone met in my back and spot in my strenum. Today I had a bone scan to see if it went any where else. I am starting to get more depress because as soon as I think I am able to deal with one thing something else happen. Right now I think life suck. I keep getting bad news and nothing seem to be going my way. I just want to stay in bed and shut myself from world.

Thanks for letting me vent.

P.S. Have anyone have recurrence in the hip and what treatment did you recieve.

    sorry. Many positive thoughts will be coming your way from this board. There are several members who had similar situation and I am sure they will get in touch with you. As far as I understand the common practice to treat hips with radiation. I read it should stop mets.

    So sorry to hear that you are having more problems. I haven't had to deal with this but I am in a clinical trial for Zometa. I don't know if this would apply in your case but this is an infusion drug that is used to treat osteoporosis. My understanding is that it is also used to treat bone metastasis and has been pretty successful. The current clinical trial is for early stage breast cancer because when the did the study with the bone mets, they unexpectedly found that it not only treated the existing bone metastasis but seemed to also prevent metastasis to other sites and recurrences. It might be something to ask your doctor about if you're not already receiving.

    I'm so sorry to hear about your latest bad news. I was feeling sorry for myself today until I read your post. You can vent here anytime and we'll be here for you. I don't have your problems but wanted to let you know you're in my thoughts and prayers. Take care and let us know how you're doing.

    You are the third posting that I have read tonight who has a recurrence, though each one has a different site for the recurrence. This is spooky.

    I also had a recurrence (3 years later on my breast scar).

    All I can advise you is to continue to post on this site, letting us know how you are doing and what you are feeling. This site is a wonderful source for support and knowledge.

    This is the 3rd reocurrence that I have read about. You have to keep battling, don't stay in bed. Find out what needs to be done, and fight. My heart goes out to you. Strength and courage is inside you dear sister, bring it forth.

    I am sorry Barb for the unwanted visitor in your life now, this is just heartbreaking for you and for all of us. I sometimes want to crawl under the covers too, I know the fear you face. I am so sorry. You come here and vent anytime, that's what this place is for.

    Too many recurrences the last few days. I am so sorry, but please do not shut yourself off from the world and isolate yourself. That is always our first thoughts but it is a dead end for us and gets us nowhere...only makes matters worse. Please continue to come here for support and also your family and friends. We are all here to listen and support you whatever you are feeling....we are all your sisters! You cannot give up or give into the negative thoughts that are probably flooding your mind right now. You have to fight and not let go! Please know that God is with you as a refuge and never leaves your side and I am praying for you that He will comfort you and strengthen you during this time.     I did google the Mayo Clinic site and found some information on there. You might check it out. Your doctor's, ofcourse, are your best source. Ask, ask and ask some more until you feel that you have all of your questions answered.

    i am not sure if you read my
    i am not sure if you read my post, but i also have had a reoccurence, and so has Chen. We are all going to fight this together. I have already had my first dose of chemo on Thursday. I know what to expect, so i am not scared. What is your treatment plan? take care, and pray
