I'm glad that you feel so well. Keep resting, eating well and drink lots of water. You will be through rads before you know it.

Thx Sue! I'm about to go get some rest now. I've been eating whatever I could taste, but I am about to eat really healthy, lots of leafy green veggies and fruits. I don't even mind rads after finishing chemo! This is truly a milestone for me!

Hi Rene, glad to hear you're doing so well and thru chemo. Congrats, eat healthy, rest up, have some fun, get your rads done, and cross the finish line. I'm just starting chemo and have 12 weeks of it coming, then rads. We're celebrating your milestone with you.0 -
Yippeeeee!!!
That's so wonderful - I hope you are able to celebrate, and yes, the hair will start to come back soon!
You are a warrior!0 -

I'm really happy for you. I finished chemo the first week of April and just completed my first week of rads. I feel really good these last two weeks or so. I'm sure you will find that with time your taste will come back quickly. Mine did and the fatigue has gotten so much better. I know there are downsides to rads, but I feel really optimistic. So enjoy your milestone!!!!!0 -

Way to go - worst thing I found about rads was going EVERY day. The burns and pain (if that's what you get) are easily treatable. Happy Hair - Down to There!0 -

Thanks for all the congrats! I think I got too happy and over-did it! My husband cooked on Sunday (broccoli and rice casserole, fresh corn on the cob on the grill, black eyed peas, fresh squash/onions, fresh turnips, mustards, and kale mixed, grilled chicken and pork chops, and baked a turkey). Now, all I baked was an apple pie! I was up early running errands and having fun with my family then I just felt sick. I had to lay down and take a compazine. I feel much better, I think I just needed to rest. But, I am not done celebrating. Today for lunch we went to a hibachi grill and it wass great! Just wait until my hair starts coming back! I love ya'll!
