Grrr, indeed
Oooh, I'm hating what you are having to go through! After so much time and treatment, you'd like to be seeing the end of the tunnel. Thank goodness the cortisone helped. If you're eating lots of rice, you might try brown rice, which has lots of good nutrition compared to white.

I am sorry so many of us have to suffer so much and often it is just because they won't admit to the tinies of percentages of side effects. I was so glad that I read everything and knew for myself what my chances of getting any kind of side effect was. Back 14 years ago they the medical community was more interested in sadating us poor anxiety riddled breast cancer survivors or cancer survivors for that matter.
It took me more than 7 years to address all the health issues I was left with because if there was a one percent chance of getting it I did. My mother is that sensative to medication and everything so wasn't surprised by this but please admit it could be and not because I have a little fear. I was reminded once by my Pain specialist that depression does not cause pain but truly being in pain can cause depression and no wonder suffering is not good and none of us should have to is my belief.
I know that I want Quality to my life and everything I do is for that including rattlng cages again because time is clicking away on these two new lumps that have now been there for over two months. They minimize my chances for a reoccurance and think I find comfort in that when in fact there is only one way to know and that is diagnostically check it.
I sometimes wonder how much has truly changed in 14 years.
How is early detection possible even today if they just believe I don't have cancer and wonder why I think I might. 11 out of 21 positive nodes and maybe having one of the worst forms of breast cancer at 36 with the negative HER. Lucky yes because I am still here but that doesn't mean you don't have to check new lumps.

I feel the same way, and
I feel the same way, and this is strange, but my timeline is the same as yours. My stomach hurts, i have been diagnosed with IBS. i feel bloated and gassy all the time. food does not taste the same, and i am tired. I also was on taxol and i tolerated it well at the time, but now i feel sick all the time. My oncologist prescribed prilosec for me, but lately it has not been working. Can you tell me who told you that chemo wore away the lining of your stomach. I have only been seeing my oncologist, but i think i need to see a gastro doc. Take care.. and you are not alone0 -

I am so sorry and I hope that things will get better. It's obvious that you are strong, a fighter. Keep fighting - and posting.
