A little miffed..should i be?
Bonnie, how did your tests go?....PS. to all the newbies, if my mother's CA-125 can go down and she can possibly be NED (even though the doc said no way 2 months ago), ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN..Her cancer was everywhere when we found it. everywhere. Have hope!! This is a crazy disease and I think God is in total control of where it goes.
God Bless you all...

it's the nobody knows phase
Maybe you're in the nobody knows phase. Everybody -- all the pros, all the family, and especially your mother -- has done what they can for now. Nobody knows what happens next.
Meanwhile, it sounds like your mom is ready to declare herself in remission, so let her. What do you have to lose?
My mom did exactly that in September. She decided the cancer was gone, and lived cancer free for six months, at least in her mind. Strange but true, and now she can even talk about it a little. Psychologically, it was a way of taking care of herself, of slowing down time. Now she is accepting reality with much more peace, a little at a time.
I'm so glad she gave herself those six months, and glad her doctors didn't push her to do things differently.0 -
