Wow,
Sorry to hear about the lack of support you have. I wonder how things would be if the shoe was on the other foot? Sometimes misery likes to be left alone (me at times) but often it likes to be around people who can relate. Not that you are miserable...but you came to a graet place for support. As far as your husband goes, some people do not know how to handle stuff like this at all.

he is a lazy person and if he can get out of doing something he does but he works hard at his job and makes good money . He went through having cancerous polops removed from his bladder 3 yrs ago no chemo needed and I was there for him every step of the way and he will go for another test on jan 4th to see if there is anymore he just doesn't want to admit there maybe something wrong with him so he just acts like everything is fine and if I have a bad day I am whinning but I have alot of friends and family that do support me my grown children are here for me but I don't sleep with them if you know what I mean it would be nice if the man I cook and clean for would put his arms around me and say honey it will be ok. it has been 5 months and he has yet to do that but like I said this is a very low day for me thanks for listening...0 -

Hi there,
Thats what we are here for is to vent to,laugh with, cry with and share with...I am so sorry your hubby is acting that way...Have you tried to sit down and have a frank bottom line all out talk??? Maybe just maybe he needs to hear exactly how you feel and how much you need his support...(Sorry guys) but most of them need to be told point blank then they get it.....sometimes not.. but even so we all need to vent..So no worries put a smile on and carry forward cause its to nice of a time of year to be sad....I am trying hard to take my own advice there too...lol lol lol Happy Holidays...JULIE0 -
Sorry
So sorry that you don't have a very good care giver support system on your side. I know if it wasn't for my husband and kids I would be very down. I commend you for finding solace on this board as we are also your family. Some people just don't deal well with this type of situation. I know that it is hard on the ones we love especially when they see us going through it. How was your husband before your diagnosis? If he was that way before, and maybe you just never noticed it, he might have just been this way. I hope that things turn around for you. Please rest assured you are welcome here anytime and thanks for sharing your feelings. Everyone needs to be needed and you are here.

well we have been married 5 yrs and he has always been there for me but I think he is having a hard time accepting what is going on and that is ok but he should not expect me to turn a blind side to what is going on and I have to stay possitive about the out come and no matter what I will not have anything stand in my way of beating this..0 -
