Earlier I had posted about having oxi for 26 rounds of chemo. Well the dr explained today that I would have only received oxi for 12 of those rounds. She decided to give me a break for the holidays and no more oxi until March or April. I'm happy about the break and no more oxi for awhile but she did tell me my tumors were inoperable that was a downe, so I'm trying hard to stay positive and pray the chemo works. Thought I'd let everyone now what the doc said. Deb

My husband was originally not considered a candidate for liver surgery. After 6 rounds of FOLFOX, he is now being scheduled for a staged liver resection. Hopefully the chemo will knock your tumors down enough for them to be able to consider surgery or one of the other very successful options!

    thank you
I too am hoping the chemo will help improve the chsnces that I may be able to have surgery in the future. At the time my dr told me the tumors were inoperable I was crushed. It kind-of took the wind out of my sails. I'm seeing s counselor next week to help me deal with this news and other issues. Hopefully he will be some help to me until then I will try to keep my head up and plan for Christmas. Deb
