My husband was originally not considered a candidate for liver surgery. After 6 rounds of FOLFOX, he is now being scheduled for a staged liver resection. Hopefully the chemo will knock your tumors down enough for them to be able to consider surgery or one of the other very successful options!0 -

I too am hoping the chemo will help improve the chsnces that I may be able to have surgery in the future. At the time my dr told me the tumors were inoperable I was crushed. It kind-of took the wind out of my sails. I'm seeing s counselor next week to help me deal with this news and other issues. Hopefully he will be some help to me until then I will try to keep my head up and plan for Christmas. Deb0
