well, to begin with he went
well, to begin with he went to a top teaching hospital in our state after being diagnosed in 2000. in our case it was henry ford in detroit. he had stereotactic radiation and chemo. the first chemo was tremodar which didn't work. next he went on a clinical trial which shrunk his tumor but caused many side effects. the hopeful thing about a clinical trial is that if there is no other choice in approved chemo this can buy you time. in my husbands case it did and 6 months later he was on an approved drug procarbozine and ccnu. he has been cancer free since 2005. i just know it takes guts, which i am sure your son and you have. it takes all of you to fight this. ask questions even if you think it is stupid, it is not. you are his advocate. best wishes. keep posting i will be watching.
