Third opinion tom. say a prayer:)

Hello everyone, I will be seeing an Interventional Radiologist tomorrow at 2:30. This comes after my appt. with the GI Onc. at Emory that sais chemo forever! My Dr. actually set this appt. up with the IR tom. I am hoping that he has ideas for my liver, and soon. I know I have been at this since June with chemo and scans,and I maybe I am expecting something too soon. I just can't accept that it's chemo forever and nothing being done with the liver. I am stage IV with multiple liver mets, I think the largest is around 6-7 cm and some small ones scattered. I have read where people were told inoperable and then they become operable. I just don't want the Dr.s to get to set in inoperable mode! I am just trying to be proactive and survive. I still feel pressure in my liver and would like not to have to experience this as it is a constant reminder of the Cancer. Please pray for me tomorrow if you will, God Bless you all, Patti

    I am praying for you right now for your appointment to go well today, and that you will be given some new hope. I can relate to the being told "chemo forever", as I'm in that same sitation. I'm tolerating it okay, but it's overwhelming to think I'll be doing this every other week forever, which is why I'm searching out other options. If you don't get satisfaction with options presented to you now, then definitely keep on searching. Check out the thread I posted on Dr. Stephen Cantrell and the neoplas.org website- it's got me excited as a possibility for my future, if needed.
