Pack your bags and go and enjoy yourself. Don't worry about your hair. It was hard for me but I just told myself that I'd rather loose my hair than have this beast in me!! I know one thing I don't have to worry about how my hair looks. I just throw on my wig or put on my scarf!! You'll get through this and we're here to help!! Hugs, Diane0 -
HI Pat
Leave your worries behind just for this little block of time and enjoy this vacation. YOu totally deserve it. The beast is not allowed to go with you.
Dont worry about your hair. WE will be here to help you thru that hurdle, truly. Just remember that the sacrifice is worth getting rid of the beast once and for all.
Enjoy!!!
Hugs

Enjoy this well deserved
Enjoy this well deserved vacation! Try to just laugh, relax and have fun, and don't spend too much time fretting over the things to come. As we have been encouraging some in here to tell their children, Hair Loss Means The Medicine is Working! I thought that losing my hair was the very worst part of the journey. It was certainly the most humiliating. But it happened,I couldn't stop it, and no one seemed to feel really bad about it EXCEPT ME! It grew back and is just as nice as it ever was. Yours will be too!
Enjoy the Bahamas and tell us all about it when you get home again!
Hugs,

Bon Voyage...
Wishing you great fun on your vacation! Enjoy yourself and take a break from worrying. You deserve a little pampering time.
Am glad you'll be surrounded by family who love you on this fabulous trip!
Fondly,

GREAT IDEAL,LEAVE CANCER AT HOME WHEN GOING ON TRIP.That is how I waNT TO THINK.WE LEAVE SEPT.13.I CAN NOT WAIT.I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN A AIRPLANE OR ON A SHIP.SO THIS IS ALL NEW AND EXCITING.i know my treatments start a few days after being home.So I want to live it up that week.I have made up my mind that I wont let Cancer take anything from me that I can help.so the trip is one of these things.I wish I could do this with my losing my hair.BUT I WILL PRAY ABOUT IT ,MAYBE I wont lose it.The dr. says I will though.I want to have a wig and some scarfs ready. Thanks everyone.God Bless you. Sometimes, like I said in an earlier post, some things are more important that others. Though cancer is serious, taking a respite time is important, too. Have a great time...post pix when you return, yes? We want to have a moment of envy seeing you soaking up the rays on the cruise deck .
