    Yes, I've been on Topotecan
I was on topotecan with abraxane, so it's hard to say which of the two drugs gave me side effects. Initially I did really well with the combination, my CA125 (ovarian cancer marker) finally reaching the lowest it had since my initial diagnosis. Unfortunately, I developed a resistance to that... same as the first three drug combinations prescribed.

The biggest with the topotecan/abraxane combo for me was very low red blood counts. I had to have several transfusions (twice it was as much as three units). A lot of fatigue. This combo also took my hair (it had only gotten thin with taxol/carboplatin). Some naseau.

That said, please remember that everyone reacts to the drugs differently. You may have no side effects at all. Or only some of them. Or different ones than I did.

Good luck with the treatment. I hope it works really well for you and that you're cancer-free in no time at all!

Thank yu for your information. I have taken this drug now for 3 weeks and so far so good.
I do get some naseau but so far so good I just worry that this going to do the trick. I have already done a couple of other chemos that did not work so prayerfully this is the one
I dont go back for a scan until Oct. praying things will be smaller or going away.
