Pain!!!

Hi Everyone!!!! doing a little better after duble mast, nodes clear both sides tissue expanders in. 2 of the 4 drains out. QUESTION: I am having "Charlie Horse" muscle spasm PAIN in my pectoris muscles, taking valium around the clock not work PS refused to continnue pain med, my Primary Doc came thru though. Is this common these horriblr spasms?

    I had a charlie horse/pulled
    I had a charlie horse/pulled muscle feeling in my surgery site sometimes. Usually when I am reaching like to put on a shoe. So it isn't constant and I didn't have the reconstruction so that could make a difference also.

    Like others have recommended, contact a doctor. I believe (not absolutely certain) that Valium is technically a "muscle relaxer" - not a true pain relief medication. Hope you get something that works better for you, and real soon.

    It would be best if you call your doctor and see what he says. He can give you pain medication or if you need, a muscle relaxer, or, both.

    Give your surgeon a call. I am sure they can help you out or give you something for the pain.

    They have all kinds of pain pills, muscle relaxers, or, maybe just a prescription for some very strong Ibuprofin.

    You shouldn't have to be in pain.

    No doctor wants that.
