Info That May Help You / Trial Drug Pill
I will let you know whats happening and how this trial works that may benefit someone else out there. I have been draining cancer fluid off causing low sodium and low blood pressure so I am taking sodium cholride tabs. When I get it up hopefully this week I will go to IU for the trial. My Liver and kidneys are strong enough and when I get to IU (Indiana University Medical Center) new cancer center there, I will get a magnetic MRI( just go under magenet slowly), cat scan, ekg, blood test urine test, and then give me taxol for one hour. I stay all night do test next day. Then take the pill or pills of trial drug SORAFENIB. This is a pill I will take 2 in morning and 2 and night continuously,If it makes me sick I call them immediately and they re look at it and reduce dosage. The next week I take avastin I believe an hour and they moniter me for 24 hours. The next week they do the same as first week but scans will see if anything shrunk. The whole idea is for chemo to shrink and the pill to help keep from coming back. Which is the trial drug. They have had great success with bladder patients. Wish me luck and if anyone wants to inform you dr about it need info its at IU where they do research and trials as well as chemo. They are the Center that saved my friend gave her a new liver and she is now real good. She was in a different dept. didnt have cancer another disease. Yes it is a hospital with a new cancer center and they have a research dept. Usually they pick those who have been on different chemos and cancer comes back or your stablized but still have cancer or chemos didnt work well. Taxol and Taxitere and worked but as you know its came back seven years and the others have failed. My cancer is in lymphnodes, spleen and little ones on omentem. Its worth a try for some of you out there. Dont give up.

I forgot to tell you ladies, they have 4 different dosage ways to do this and it depends on person. But thats basically what they will give me. If everything goes well I will be sure and tell you. Should know in 3 or 4 weeks. It may help people or someone where it comes back or just stablizes and doesnt go away anyway I am sure there are plenty of us out there, I know there is a trial at Chicago too. Again I am praying for all of us and that maybe they found something that will stop this awful nightmare for all of us. God Bless Ya. Talk to ya soon

I will be the first one to jump for joy and be telling all of you if at least it puts me in remission. I am sure with taxol I will have a little tough time but been there done that. This fluid is worse. Cant do anything for myself. Except walk to a few feet to bathroom huffing and puffing but chemo will help that. Never thought I would be anxious to take that. hmm. Thank all of you for your prayers and special ones to our friend Bonnie who has a fever and in hospital. God bless her.
