I am Hoping against Hope you will get to read this!!!!
This is happening after trying repeatedly to answer your emails, and/or reply to your threads. It is very disheartening, and makes me feel as if I am either ignoring you, or am not interested in your lives. None of that could be further from the truth!
So, let me say, Happy Birthday to Debi and Dorothy , albeit incredibly belated now~ and some "shout-outs" to my fellow Kindred Spirits, with apologies to names, situations, milestones I have forgotten. Hello to RE, and Moopy, Mimi, Lili, mgm, 12/25, Jadie, Phoenix, Lynn, Cat, Taleena, new ones, long-timers, TASHA, Kylez, Aortus, the artichoke eaters, the MJ tokers, the avid gardners, the Feisty Texans, the Holland vacationers, the ones with kittens, the ones with dogs, those who ride horses, those who drink wine, those with rad burns, those who are tired, those who are starting, those who are finishing Relay for Lifers...ALL OF YOU!!
I am sooo hoping this lets me post~ I am about to take my 40' legs and kick some computer A$$! LOL
Love you, and lots of Hugs, and with my luck, this will post multiple times or not at all! Typos included!
Claudia

Greetings to Kindred Spirit! :-)
Our dear and wise Claudia - thank you for your post! Yes, I had been wondering about your absence... But, then thought maybe you and your man were simply on the road, or whatever...
You are amongst the very sweetest of them all here!
Technology - it's a love/hate thing, ain't it? When attempting to access this site - I often get a "server cannot be found" prompt from my own computer. So, I try again later. Who knows why? Not me, certainly.
Warm welcome back, Kindred Spirit!
Kind regards, 12/250 -

Don't these computers sometimes make you want to throw something. For those of us computer-challenged persons, I am so glad you are persistent in making your voice heard. We have missed your posts, your humor, your intellect, and most of all your spirit. Speaking for myself, I also missed your stature (I am one of those height challenged individuals). I feel so much more secure when surrounded by 50' sisters. Hugs.

Hi ChenRE said:I got it!
Nice Chen, hey enjoy your trip to visit a fellow CSNER. I have started copying my posts halfway through so when they suddenly disappear I will still have them and just paste them back in.
Take care!

Dr Phil-ism...
"How's that working for ya?' LOL
I couldn't get in chat and you couldn't post, but I could post and you could get in chat. It's a mad mad mad mad world.
Anywho, I am back in chat (for the time being, at least) thanks to either my latest Java update and/or the fact I finally wised up and got satellite internet over dial up.
So, keep in touch and I'll be happy to relay any messages to the ladies and/or guys here if that helps any, though I know that's a poor substitute for being able to post for yourself.0 -

Chen you are certainly missed around here
Who else would joke, give good advise, sympathize and joke again all in one post? You can hop around the country in two or three steps, take down CSN censors, (g.i.f. is banned so that we cannot upload them anymore)kick butt on bad boyfriends, hug all here in one fell swoop! You are our original 50 foot amazon warrior ready to do battle against the beast! Don't stay away too long even if it is just to say hi!
Have a great trip!

50 feet tall and nowhere to be seen
Ah, lovely Claudia. I FEED off your energy. So glad to read your post. Back in the '70's i lived in Winnebago, NE - first as a VISTA (volunteer) and then 3 years for the tribe. It was such a life changing experience for a girl from Chicago. Later, I taught on the Flathead Reservation and lived and worked awhile at Rocky Boy in Montana. There are so many ways to live and so much to learn. Just wanted to share this part of me with you and let you know how much your courage, grit, and openness to life's adventure inspire me. Lynn0 -
LOL
Claudia, you can always make me laugh! And, so happy to see you post! We assumed that aliens had kidnapped you to study those 40' legs. Glad that didn't happen, but, perhaps, you would have liked that? lol
Anyway, sorry about your puter trouble. Glad you could post. I don't get that problem here, this site is just slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww to load for me. lol
And, welcome back! Love, Jeanne0 -
Computers...
Clauda,
I understand computer obstinance!
I was forced into the computer age and I was none too happy about it. When my daughter sat one of her guinea pigs on top of the monitor of my word processor it caused some irrepairable damage--liquid of any kind does not mix well with electronics! Ugh! I was in the middle of a grad class project and, at 8pm that night I had to go to the computer store and invest in a new device. My intent was to get another word processor (something I new something about, coming out of the typewriter age), but the young man there talked me into buying a computer.
He talked about the modem, and I asked where you put the phone receiver, because I couldn't figure out how the phone receiver could fit inside the thing he called the "tower." He then talked to me with a "ma'm this and ma'm that" and told me that he had never seen one of those computers except in textbooks. I asked him if he wanted the sale and, if so, he should stop calling me "ma'm."
Anyway, since that I time I have learned about computers and we have a love'hate relationship. I went through 4 computers in one year at work (I found that hitting the keyboard was a good way to break them) and I was finally given a really fast computer.
No, computers and me are not a good combination.

Thanks Chen was wondering
Thanks Chen was wondering what was happening. Glad you were able to post and I missed you too. Been pretty busy between work and Karina's Sweet 16 which thank God, went off without a hitch yesterday. I posted some pics on my expressions page. I hope to be able to post more often now that that's over. Hugs, Lili0
