If i'm not mistaken dont
If i'm not mistaken dont they give you ativan while your doing your treatment. It helps calm you down if your nervous or anxious. I belief i was on that during my drips. Hmmmm, i'm sure someone else will respond and correct me if i'm wrong.

I had six infusions of TAC, and was given Ativan during the entire chemo treatment. Ask your oncologist, but I think this is a pretty common prescription given to relieve nausea, sleeplisness and anxiety during chemo. Good luck on your treatments...HUGS

I had Ativan with Chemo
I was given Ativan while undergoing chemo. Yes, it's an anti-anxiety med; however, it also helps with nausea. For me, it was a godsend. I was told not to be afraid to take it when I needed it. Once chemo was over, I didn't need it anymore. Hope this helps. Hugs, Marilynn0 -

I had TAC chemo...
My onc prescribed Ativan (1 mg.) as a sleep aid. Took before bed evening of each treatment, and for two evenings after. That's was it - no more than that.
Kind regards, Susan0 -
