Today is.............
Hubby is doing well, and it has been a week since his heart surgery. He cared for me all during my cancer journey and now, I can reciprocate.
I told him that given the circumstances, he needn't go out and get me a g i f t this year (I am such a card sometimes!) But seriously, the fact that we have survived the two "big ones" in this life has been a g i f t for us both. Now we just want to go on and grow old together, although with a new appreciation for each other, and a realization of just how fragile life is.
Just wanted to tell you that our lives have changed drastically in the past year.....but not necessrily for the worst.

34 years of marriage, particularly in this day and age, is a very special cause for celebration and congratulations! Happy Anniversary to both of you - Cindy, and to your husband, Scott. And best wishes for MANY more years together, in good health, always.
Presents, and whatever other whatnots, can purchased later (Retail Therapy, anniversary-related!). Yes, the fact that you're both here and together is what really matters.

Wow.. I think that is really amazing... specialy when you look at todays world.. Happy, Happy Anniversary to both of you...I wish for you many more years of blessings and memories... it isn't the destination ... but the journey ... that makes you appreciate life... Hoping your journey from here on out is filled with warm memories, love, beautiful sunrises and sunsets... and not too many more bumps in the road! (you've had your share)

I was at a conference in Rochester today and they announced a birthday and it was someone from Ransomville. I actually knew where it was, thanks to you.
Our anniversary is today also, but it's our 28th. Time really flies, through both the good and not so good times.
Many times when I read posts and you have responded, I think that your experiences are a lot like mine (must be they do things the same way in Buffalo and Syracuse)! And, I usually have nothing to add to what you've already said!

Thank you, my dear friends! Yes, we had a nice quiet day together and then the grandkids and their Mom & Dad took us out for ice cream tonight. It was really fun.
It wore hubby out, but he wouldn't have missed it for the world.

Thank you, Susan and Pammy. We weren't able to celebrate yesterday, since my husband was in Florida, on business, and I was in New York. But, I'm flying down to Florida today, so we will celebrate tonight or tomorrow. And, we'll have a week vacation before I have to return to work.

Between my two cancers, and his heart disease, we reduce THEIR odds significantly!!! We are GREAT to have around!!! ROFL!!
