Locating a good oncologist, surgeon and reconstructive surgeon - Oklahoma City area

Just got diagnosed 2.5 weeks ago. Live in small town. I have doubts that the medical network here can deal with this. I'm trying to find reviews and recommendations for oncologist/surgeon teams in the OKC area. Please help.

People have to date recommended

Dr Dooley at OU
Dr Tfayli at OU
Dr Aleda Toma at Integris

    I am sorry to hear of your diagnoses but do not live in your area. I just wanted to say that I think second opinions are important. Also bring someone to your appointments that can listen and write things down for you. When the docs talk you will not hear all of it. I brought paper and pen and didn't write anything and then my husband and I were talking at home and both thinking they said different things. Good Luck in your search and treatment.
    I also suggest writing down quetions to ask and bringing them with you.

    I just want to say hi and to welcome you. Call the hospitals or cancer center and see who they have. Contact the CSN staff, American Cancer Society, they will help you too. good luck

    Thank you all for your help and welcome. I will call the ACS. I'm plugging into a network of friends to get referrals ... it's hard making decisions!!

    Not Sure About Oncologist from my Doctor
    I also will be needing an oncologist. I received a name from my doctor who recommended someone close to my home.

    I live in Northwest Phoenix. Anyone out here who knows of someone that may be good?
