Your kind thoughts and your prayers and your support mean a terrific amount to both Moopy and me. This has been kind of a curveball thrown at us, but it may also be an opportunity.
And I know that I am the luckiest man on earth - seventeen years ago tomorrow, Moopy and I were pronounced man and wife at Sacred Heart Catholic Church here in town. And we're not settling for a mere extra seventeen years: we want at least another seventeen on top of that! Consider yourselves all invited to our 51st Anniversary Party in 2043!
Of course, if the economy keeps going the way it is, we may all have to take off of work that day in order to go...
Joe
17 years is great! Hope all is well and you can celebrate having found each other and kept each other all these years!

17 years of wedded bliss, especially in this day & age, is certainly cause for celebration! Hope your day is special; and, yes, wishing you BOTH many, MANY more anniversaries yet to come!
See ya in 2043 - I've already written it in on my calendar.
Kind regards, Susan0 -
What list do you click on tochenheart said:Friends!
The little icon means you are on someone's friend list~ WE see the icon on each others names, but NOT on our own! I love the friends list~ we can click on it to see if that person is online, and when we do send them private email, we don't have to try and remember just how their screenname is written~ there is a drop-down list of our friends we can click on! Great for my feeble brain! I am going to add you as a friend, ok? And 12/25 I don't think you have ever slighted anyway in your whole life!
Hugs,
Claudia

Well putchenheart said:Batter Up!!!!!
A curveball, you say? Well that isn't always a bad thing, depending on who's at bat and how adept they are at hitting a homerun! And I would say you and Moopy are on the winning team!
I am a rabid Yankee fan ( I know! you don't have to say anything!! I've heard it all!) and was sooo touched by the inside the park homerun Brett Gardner made. He was visiting a children's hospital, and though he is certainly not a Lou Gehrig, Mickey Mantle, or Babe Ruth, one girl he visited gave him a bracelet and asked for a homerun...not likely as he isn't a slugger. Yes,of course he hit one! And the child who gave him the bracelet? She was awaiting a heart-transplant,and got one!!
You could say they both had curveballs thrown at them~ and made it all the way around the bases and home again, even though there were obstacles in the way.
Moopy and Joe...hit a homerun for me, will you please????
Hugs,
Claudia

Hi, my dear friends. I read your messages and logged in to be greeted with my friends Patty, Marcia, and Cat. I am OK and so regret worrying everyone. I will be writing to thank you all, but I start watering the keyboard every time I try. You will get a Moopy note as soon as I get the faucet under control. (Not to worry: it will be short!)
Cat, I saw your new image, but you know I love your beautiful red hair. Photos of you are my favorites. New image is fun, though.
Patty, you are so generous. I am sorry that I kidnapped your post. I hope that you did get your testing questions answered. Just one bit of advice: if you are in an HMO, you might check with your insurer before any extra, expensive test. I am in an HMO, and one test ordered by my onc. was denied. Guess it was a fancy sort of CT, with dye and all, and HMO thought unnecessary. Will be working on that issue later.
For now, just plan to enjoy the holiday weekend. Thank you all for the anniversary wishes. Looking forward to having a celebration when we are all little old ladies and gents. I want to be one of those 70-year-olds in a bikini that Green-Eye Girl saw on the beach in Hawaii!
Wishing you all an enjoyable Memorial Day weekend.

Moopy, I am so sorry for the troubles you are having now. I will most certainly keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I didn't realize anything had gone wrong with you and your treatment until I got back and read a few of the posts. Please know that I/we are all here for you! Have a great Holiday Moopy! ( oh, and to your other half too lol )0 -

Hello my friend, I have been having problems with my internet so I have missed several days of posts. I am sorry that you are having a rough time right now. I think of you everyday and keep you in my heart. I hope you and Joe had a nice anniversary. I will be making plans to attend the party in 2043. Love, Nancy0 -

Our Moopy - who could never, ever be droopy to us!
No bikini for me! Maybe a one-piece...
Hope you and Aortus enjoyed a special day. In fact, you two have every right to celebrate during the whole darned weekend!
Kind regards, Susan0
