HA HA!!!
You naughty woman! (hee hee!!!)
If THEY do threaten to "throw you out"... Tell THEM your new photo is simply the perfect analogy for our situation:
The banana is breast cancer - a BIG SCREW no one ever wants!
The others represent US - this entire group - desperately trying to get away from it.
Thanks for the :-) ...
Kind regards, Susan0 -

So many times when you all say there is a new photo I can't see it. I see the old pictures. Like the one of Tasha. I also changed my picture but it is the same one of me as a little girl. At least on my AOL site. But when I open this board in MSN, bingo, there are the new pictures. I thought for a while I was losing my mind and I can't even blame chemo. Tasha, the fruit picture is so funny. I loved it. And Bill I saw you with a beard. And there were lots of other pictures that I hadn't seen before. Re, you are so pretty. It's funny, though, that sometimes I get the new pictures, like Mimi's and when Moopy and her hubby did the turquoise stuff. Go figure.
My new picture is my tattoo. This is the one that I said I had done a few years after I was treated for uterine cancer. The one that the gal wanted to put lower on my breast and I objected because as I feared that as I aged and gravity had its affect on my breast, the little fairies feet would eventually touch the floor. She sits just above my left breast and I am thinking about adding my grandchildren's names on each side of her. JJ and JO. So who else has tats or piercings and what age did you have them done? Come on, confession time. And where are they? And does anyone plan to get one or wishes they had one and what would it be? We know that one person has a hippo in a tutu plan. Will this be like the Disney ones in Fantasia? I love my tattoo and I figure if I do regret it in 20 years, it won't matter because I'll be in the old folk's home and I'll just look down at it one day and say "who the hell put that there?"

My husband loves fishing - does it as much as he possibly can. Heard of "golf widows"? I call myself a "fishing widow"!!! He does it all: from shore, from a boat, standing in a river, even ice fishing (for which I think he's a little nuts!). I've tried, just can't do it. (Or, don't want to?)
Nice photo - looks like a lovely location. However, I kinda miss your doggie! :-)
Kind regards, Susan0 -

I will have to take another of me and tootsie fishing! She loves it as much as i do. Although i'm too woosey to ice fish like your hubby. This river is only a mile from where i live and mostly i just like being in nature, but it is exciting when i get a fish! We like to eat them too.

I wrote this in another thread ... but ... since you asked about tattoos ... I thought I'd let you know my story.
Ten years ago ... when I was 55 ... I had to file for bankruptcy. I could never have imagined having to do that. I'd done a couple of other things I NEVER imagined I could do ... get divorced after 21 years of marriage ... and going to college (I was older than most of my professors and even went straight through until I had my masters degree!) But ... I did it all. I promised myself that after the bankruptcy was final I would do ONE more thing I could NEVER imagine myself doing. I knew I wasn't going sky diving or swimming with the sharks so the next most bizzare thing I could NEVER imagine myself doing was ... get a tattoo. Remember ... I was 55 years old ... and the biggest weenie on the planet. Hated and feared all needles!! Anyway ... I talked a friend into going with me to the local "tattoo parlor" ... and there we were with a room full of bikers ... and then they called my name and we went in the back. The "artist" asked what I wanted and I handed him a piece of paper with the tattoo I wanted. It was a little circle ... literally the size of the eraser on a pencil ... with a smiley face on it. He asked where I wanted it and I told him between the belly button and the stretch marks! He about cracked up ... and it hurt like crazy ... but every time I look at my little smiley fact ... I realize that I CAN do things I could never have imagined I could do. I am much stronger than I ever gave myself credit for... and ... of course it always makes me smile.
hugs.

I personally do not have any tats, tho my sister and my niece do. Two years ago, on her 22nd birthday, my niece got a new tattoo in my honor~ she knows I love hummingbirds, so on her forearm she has a beautifully colorful hummingbird holding a pink BC ribbon in its tiny bird claws.
My sister says the rose she had done above her breast eaons ago is starting to look like potpourri! LOL
Hugs,
