Thank you all for your wonderful messages.........I GOT THE JOB! They hired me on the spot and seem to be lovely people!.. It's a family run greenhouse/growing/garden centre and I am the first "Outsider" they have ever hired! Man I am so delighted. Thank you all for your encouragement in this and everything else..     Julia, I can feel your excitement from your post and that is a piece of sunshine on it's own.
    Congratulations! And you're the first outsider they've hired. Now that is BIG! Have fun "playing in the dirt" and watching stuff grow cause I know I love it. Doesn't the earth smell so good this time of year with all the rotting leaves, twigs and damp soil after a scentless winter? Enjoy!

    The word was "horticulture" and this is what she came up with: "You can bring a -hore to culture, but you can't make her think."
