I know there are a few of us triple negative ladies here, so I am posting the link to a helpful blog I just found about the subject. At first glance it looks like the author collects articles about triple negative (and other) breast cancer. It also looks like a pretty positive take on the issue, so I am encouraged and will start to read.

Thank you, Mimi. I will definitely visit this blog. I like the phrasing, "hormone negative" as opposed to the highly connotative TN.

    TAC chemo
Moopy, check out the article in the blog about TAC chemo improving the odds of survival for triple negatives. This was not proven when we started chemo, and my doctor went on her own belief that this was true. Good news for us!

    Right Choice
I went to the site as soon as I read your post, but I missed that article. I will go back. You know, my onc. here believed--and he told me that ALL of his colleagues at the clinic agreed with him--that the clinical trial AC plus T and maybe Avastin was best. You know I went with the St. Louis doctor and TAC. I am just thrilled with this news.

Thanks, Mimi. I will visit that site soon. I was referred to as triple neg in the beginning, but I'm actually 5% ER positive. Taking Arimidex at the recommendation my Onc. and Pathologist for 4 months now.

Recently diagnosed at age 49.  Will start chemo on Monday. Did node biopsy, negative nodes, Breast MRI, no ddifferent from biopsy &ultrasound.  Had PET scan on Thursday, horrified of getting results, thinking it will show something more than the other tests.  I'm praying for a miracle!!!
