Da Vinci Surgery

Hi Everyone..I will be seeing the doc tomorrow to discuss my upcoming hysterectomy. One of the things his nurse mentioned to me was that he wants to discuss this type of surgery. I looked on the internet and everything I have read sounds like this would be a wonderful alternative to the usual "stab and poke". Have any of you guys heard of this or had this type> Hugs, Cindy

hey
Not sure about this surgery but when I had a total hyster. they did it with a laproscope on a Thursday. On Saturday, I went to Costco and on Sunday at 4 was floating at the beach on St George Island. I did have to be careful but it was easy. I walked slow but felt good. I hope your surgery goes well for you.0 -
Hysterectomy
GHi Cindy: Is this Da Vinici surgery the one that is done thru laperoscopy? If so, my niece had it done and she has two tiny scars. And her recuperation time was 2 weeks. She actually felt a minimal amount of discomfort. Hugs, Lili0
