Babs, Thanks for the encouragement. I'm not a very patient patient! They had no idea about the pain and sent me to the pain clinic which accomplished nothing. I hope I find out more when I go back to Mayo next week.unknown said:This comment has been removed by the Moderator

Thanks, I see him next week. So glad you're doing well.HowardJ said:Not to discourage you but I had a laprascopic right hemi-colectomy and was pain free by one year. I also did not require stool softeners (actually just the opposite). Sounds like you should discuss with your doctor.
