Hi all,

A friend of my husband's gave us an article about IPT therapy. It stands for Insulin Potentiation Therapy. The article says it has cured people at all stages. Patients are give a dose of insulin and then a tiny dose of chemo. The insulin makes the chemo more effective so you don't need as much. Best of all, you don't get all of those icky side effects. The website is www.secondopinionnewsletter.com.

It makes sense. I know that cancer cells feed on glucose. The article says that the cells think they are being fed because of the insulin, but get hit with the chemo instead.
Please let me know if anyone has heard of this. It sounds just too good to be true.

Thanks guys,
Stacey

Sorry, I didn't look it up on the site because our friend gave us the actual article. But I just visited the site and you can type insulin potentiation therapy in the search on the site and it should bring it up. Let me know what you think. It really is amazing. I'm going to ask my husband's doctor if he would consider trying it on him. You never know.

    hi, y'all--
I have not previously heard of this. The Sloan-Kettering website on alternative treatment says that this combination is "questionable" and "unproven." However, that may just be their analysis. It sounds interesting and something that may be worthwhile to check out further.
