Good news; 18 month check-up

Hi everyone,
As a stage III semicolon, I was very relieved to hear good news at my 18 month check up...scans were all clear, and bloodwork looks good. I understand from my onc that the chance of recurrance is highest in the first two years, than begins to drop. I can't believe how nervous I felt waiting for these results.
I have found this board to be a real lifeline, particularly after surgery and during chemo; thank you all for your support.

    What a relief for you. Didn't know about the recurrence rate - higher, then lowering - thanks for the info.

    Great news and now you can really enjoy your slow evolving Northeast spring. That should help calm down those wired nerves. They need a break now.
