thanks Michael for letting me know about your website. I am doing pretty good right now. I am having some annoying side effects from my maintenance therapy (it's called Atra) but I'm thankful for this drug anyways, I know it's doing something good! YOu have worked so hard on that website, there is lots of info. and links to sites. That is wonderful. Thanks again! Hope you are doing well:) Also, you said you had a friend with APL? If you don't mind me asking, how old and how long has he or she been in remission?? Just curious since the more people I know who are doing well, makes me even more hopeful! Thanks so much

Thank you for the kind words. My friend is doing very well. He had his own stems transplanted, and has remained in remission for over 8 years just like I have. I had no transplant. My treatment schedule is described on my website. I believe I provided the link to my treatment journal in my previous post? Here it is again: http://www.geocities.com/leukemia_lymphoma/my_story.htm
if you have more comments or questions please feel free to ask. you may send me an email through this site also. Glad you are doing much better. Just remember, these things take time. Sounds like you are doing a great job at it! God bless.
