My father had been diagnosed with liver cancer roughly 2 years ago, he had a portion of his liver removed because of a tumor. He then went through chemo, for a while. The cancer has since spread to his lungs. Now a new cat scan was done, a new 8cm tumor found on his liver, and nodules? in his lungs. My question is has anyone ever dealt with this or does any doctor know what his options could be?

How frequently was your father getting lung and liver scans since his liver cancer? It seems scary that an 8 cm tumor was able to grow without being detected earlier. While I haven't gone to Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, it's been recommended to me as a place that has alot of experience with liver cancer. You might want to contact them.0
