looking for others with mets to the liver

Hello,
In order to find others with similar experiences you may want to do a search of other members. You can do this by entering key words in the search bar at the top of the page. You may want to use words such as "anal" and "liver metastasis". When you get the results of your search you may want to then contact the members you find by the internal CSN email system to see if they want to share their experiences.
I hope this information has been helpful.
Take care and be well,
Dana

Hi, KKloop, yes rectal cancer is different from anal cancer. However, because anal cancer is so rare, it is treated as though it were rectal cancer because there is no standard treatment anal cancer. Please let me know what is happening with your mom. Hope to hear from you soon. You can reach me also at lovesarizona@att.net Sincerely, desertdreamerKKLoop said:I am assuming that this is different from rectal cancer???????? My Mom is labeled colorectal. Let me know if I am on the same page with you, I have lots to say.

My mother was diagnosed in June...We finished Chemo and Radiation...It was AWFUL...But, we made it through. I moved in, and am here for the Long haul. We thought we beat it, as the tumor and lymphs were clear. Now, there is mets to the liver. I am a nurse, and I am terrified. All I read says a lifespan of 1-5 years. I really would like to read survival stories, treatment options, stories. I feel like I am dying inside, my mom is my VERY BEST FRIEND....My personal email is KBlack1972@aol.com for ANY stories, suggestions...God Bless to ALL of you, I have been here to help my mother, and outsiders would NEVER know the side effects as possibly worse than the treatment...Surviving101 said:I too am a desert dreamer.
