Who's on navelbine? Any success? I've been on it since January and the herceptin from Dec. Then herceptin dropped end ofMmay and all treatments temporarily. Last Thursday navelbine again and also tom'w.

My markers had gone down and blood work was good but in those few weeks off treatment, progression set in again - sigh......

    I'm so sorry that beast is growing again. I'm still on taxol and avastin so I can't help you much. I do have a friend on navelbine for lung mets and she's doing good. I hope it will continue to work. Prayers your way Jean

    It's been offered, but I haven't taken it. Markers went up when you stopped what? Herceptin?
    Don't get too discouraged. The body is an amazing thing. There's a lot it can do that I don't think we give it credit for; i.e. good nutrition, rest, exercise and low stress and I think the body can hold it's own. Even against this insidious disease.

    Realized afterwards that I was not too clear. When I went for the May 24 treatment, I was so breathless and weak that I got no treatment and went into hospital for the heart failure. So the herceptin is out of the picture for good - other treatments were stopped too - so missed a Zometa and several Navelbine treatments.

    I am getting some help from Hospice now - weekly nurse visit etc.

    I'm in a wait-and -see mode now until the July scans.

    I agree, our bodies are amazing...
    Do keep us up to date on what happens in July. I am sending you all of my best energies. You can get back on top again. We are all pulling for you! It was just a bump in the road....
