My markers had gone down and blood work was good but in those few weeks off treatment, progression set in again - sigh......

It's been offered, but I haven't taken it. Markers went up when you stopped what? Herceptin?judiek said:Jean,
I'm so sorry that beast is growing again. I'm still on taxol and avastin so I can't help you much. I do have a friend on navelbine for lung mets and she's doing good. I hope it will continue to work. Prayers your way Jean
Warmly,
Judie
Don't get too discouraged. The body is an amazing thing. There's a lot it can do that I don't think we give it credit for; i.e. good nutrition, rest, exercise and low stress and I think the body can hold it's own. Even against this insidious disease.
God bless.

Realized afterwards that I was not too clear. When I went for the May 24 treatment, I was so breathless and weak that I got no treatment and went into hospital for the heart failure. So the herceptin is out of the picture for good - other treatments were stopped too - so missed a Zometa and several Navelbine treatments.hummingbyrd said:It's been offered, but I haven't taken it. I am getting some help from Hospice now - weekly nurse visit etc.
I'm in a wait-and -see mode now until the July scans.
