Hi sister, I have heard that Arimidex is very good with fewer side effects than Tamoxifen. A lot of HMO's won't prescribe it as it is very expensive. If you have a doc that will you are lucky. Hugs, Shirlann24242 said:there is a good article at curetoday.com talking about new findings.

I've been on Arimidex since December. No serious side effects. I had asked the dr about it because I had heard there were less side effects than Tamoxifin. Since I am post menopausal it was ok for me to take. I don't think dr will prescribe if you are still having periods. Ask about that part.shirlann said:Hi sister, I have heard that Arimidex is very good with fewer side effects than Tamoxifen. A lot of HMO's won't prescribe it as it is very expensive. hiya, Gayle,
i've been on Arimidex since June. no major side effects now. had a little trouble when i first started. one of the side effects is loss of appitite. i had to start drinking Ensure so i'd have someting in me. that didn't last very long. everything is ok now. and i'm NOT post menopausal. hope this helps. God bless. Vicki0 -
I will be starting the Arimidex drug this week. Decided to try it instead of tamoxifen because of the possible blood clot side effects. What sides effects have you experienced on the taxmo.? SK0
