Tamoxifen vs. Arimidex (sp??)

I've been on Arimidex since December. No serious side effects. I had asked the dr about it because I had heard there were less side effects than Tamoxifin. Since I am post menopausal it was ok for me to take. I don't think dr will prescribe if you are still having periods. i've been on Arimidex since June. no major side effects now. had a little trouble when i first started. one of the side effects is loss of appitite. i had to start drinking Ensure so i'd have someting in me. that didn't last very long. everything is ok now. and i'm NOT post menopausal. hope this helps.
