Advanced Cancer and waiting...

I met with my Medical Care Team yesterday and last week. Last week-Medical Oncology believed my chances were slim to none in getting a Radiologist to radiate where the recently discovered cancer is (I need another biopsy :-()….Yesterday, my Radiologist said he could do it based on a few things….So, lots to think about at this stage because of the complications that arose, on the go around, that required surgery….The biopsy folks will be calling me next week for an appointment…
The journey continues…

Yes, I heard you.
You have a very good team of doctors, however I think that you should stay on the present medication for a longer period. Spot radiation can be done later without any loss in efficacy.
What is your present PSA ?
Let's give a chance for recuperation of the soft tissues from the previous radiation.
Well, I think I got those black figs you miss from your previous farm. In fact I have four varieties of fig trees, natural here in southern region of Portugal.
How about planning a trip to Europe 😇

VG,
Damn, my grammar was rather poor on that last comment, lol… I'm surprised you were able to interpret, but glad you did...
I will not be placed on any meds until my PSA goes up two more times…my late March results were 1.79 and I have a PSA test tomorrow…
My last radiologist is now the chief of radialogy at MD Anderson and my newly assigned radiologist only does Brachytherapy and has been teaching it for over 20 years...He is very confident that he can get it with little side-effects..
I'm reaching out to my surgical oncologist for his take and have a list of questions for my medical team (thanks for yours, more are always welcome)...
Funny how you look back and say, how the #$!@ did I mentally and physically get through that...humans are pretty resilient...
Yes, I haven't been to Europe in awhile...I just might for the figs...
As always, thank you for your insight...
To All, All the Best,
