Help with diet suggestions
Hello, I've been recently diagnosis with stomach cancer and I am having a hard time eating. i've lost my appetite for foods I normally ate prior to this issue. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

First of all during the chemo and surgical stages the side effects will come and go and it will be a year post treatment before you settle down to a eating routine.
It may be that your family member seems to suddenly be lactose intolerant -- this is a common problem
My go-to small meal was Progresso Soups -- the broth based soups not the cream soups. Mild pasta dishes in small amounts were good as well.
I found that I was needlessly too concerned with putting weight back on. Two years post an 80 lb weight loss, I have regained 17 lb. Being thin is healthy and good for longevity. I am happy to stay thin for the rest if my life.
