Love of Blues Music
Mojogirl67...My husband and I were both huge blues music fans. "Mojo" is a term you often hear in blues and 67 is my birth year. (yes, lol, I am that old). When my husband and I met, I had mojogirl as my car tag and it stuck. My husband started to use it and I added 67 to it when I needed an email name.

Username reason
I recieved my undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2001. At that time I was 33 years old and had been out of school and working blue collar jobs for over 15 years. I got hurt on the job (back injury) so in 1998 I was forced to stop working the job I was in and use my brain instead of my back. LOL
Anyway, that is my username LSU2001. I have toyed with the idea of changing the name to LSU2004 because that is when I got my masters in Educational Administration, but I haven't pulled the trigger on that one.
BTW, Great thread idea

Wolfen, welcome backwolfen said:I Love Wolves
I love wolves. I think they are majestic and represent strength. I liked the movie "The Wolfen". Thus, I'll be Wolfen for a while.
My daughter was Johnnybegood until she left us in 2014, named after her feisty Pinto horse.
It is always good to see 'your' face on the forum.
My word, has it really been five years since your daughter passed? Five! I am quite sure it seems like yesterday and forever, to you. I always did wonder where jonnybegood came from.
Anyway, it is good to see you post on the fourm. You are not forgotten, and your husband and daughter also.

I have lived in Manhattan for almost 30 years, but I was raised in a town of less than 1000 people named Abita springs but that everyone calls Abita
You just gave a tiny town some name recognition - WTG.

My screen name is after Alice in Wonderland. Because it's always been one of my favorite Disney movies. And I work in a library, so it's literary. My actual name is Amy.
Never would have guessed it was Amy. Hi Amy and welcome to the boards.

AwwwSandiaBuddy said:Buddy
I am big on privacy, so I try not to use my real name for any purpose on the internet. Buddy was my dog and my best friend. I use his name a lot for magazine subscriptions, internet addresses, frequent shopper clubs and the like. I figured the name "Buddy" would already be taken, so I added the inert word "Sandia," (Spanish for watermelon, which I eat almost every lunch) and voila!
Your name was unusual and never could figure out your real name. Of course on all my posts I'll sign off "Kim" so I'm pretty transparent. Cute Buddy and I'll never think of you as Sandia as your first name again LOL.
Kim (see I'm doing it again LOL)

My real name is Summer.
pamcakes is what my husband calls my mom. Her name is Pam. Not sure why I used Pamcakes, LOl!
That is so cute. You use the name because it's your mother and every time you see it it probably reminds you of her - precious.

My claim to fame is being a professional itinerate flute player. It has taken me around the USA and abroad. Pretty much the big part of my identity. In the 90s there was a cartoon that my youngest watched called "Digimon". My wife thought it would be fun to create our own digimon and name it "Flutemon". It ended up being catchy enough for that new fangled thing called e-mail.
Very impressive and just love anything with instruments. I'll listen to symphony, opera, etc just to hear the music. My kids were growing up in the 90's too and I'm not familiar with that cartoon. Thanks for your story.
