Just recieved a good report
Few weeks back I had my follow up reports with NED results. I was diagnosed three years ago with a 10 cm tomur on my right kidney. An immidiate surgery took out tumor along with my right kidney and adrenal gland. And three years later here I am, celebrating my NED report with my dear ones and you all.

Thanks for the good news
May you be NED forever, Forough.
Do you have any problems because of the missing adrenal gland?
I was happy to keep mine but never asked if losing one causes problems.
Steve.

Thank you Steve for the good wishes. Based on my latest blood test everything is fine. So it seems that missing one adrenal gland hasn't caused me a problem yet. I've read some papers about how adrenal gland disorder could cause fatigue, depression, low blood pressure, muscle weakness , .. thank heaven none is true about me.

Best wishes!!! Also, my husband is doing fine on one adrenal. We were told that the adrenal glad is truly a "duplicate" organ and one is actutally 100% fine. I think it's more of an issue if both are causing problems. You should be fine!!
