i AM NEW TO THIS BOARD. WHERE DID YOU HAVE YOUR SURGER? WHICH DR? HAVE A LOVED ONE DIAGNOSED WITH KIDNEY MASS IN LA NOT SURE IF HE SHOULD COME TO NY AND BE WITH US AND GO TO SLOAN. ANY ADVICE. HE IS LIVING IN LA BUT ALL HIS FAMILY IS IN NY BUT WE WILL GO TO BE WITH HIM IF HE DECIDES TO STAY IN LA RIGHT NOW JUST LOOKING FOR BEST DR/HOSPITAL FOR HIM.

Not sure if by LA you mean Louisiana or Los Angeles. There are lots of excellent medical centers in the Los Angeles area that specialize in kidney cancer. Can't speak to the situation in Louisiana.
