beccabtown
I've been in touch with Becca's sister and I have sad news. Becca passed away yesterday morning with her dad and sister at her side. Rachel, her sister, wanted me to share the news here and wanted to make sure that we all know how much Becca valued our kindness and support. Memorial arrangements are pending, but I will share them here when they are finalized. I don't know if any of us are in the Bloomington, Indiana area.
Every time a woman passes, it feels like a piece of my heart does, too.

In Shock!
I was just thinking yesterday that it's been a while since she posted anything and was wondering how she was doing. She was missed, but I figured she was just doing what she needed to be doing. I couldn't believe when she had a recurrence so soon after frontline and now I'm absolutely stunned how quickly it got the better of her! This is such sad, sad news and I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around it. She was such a strong and encouraging person, I wanted better than this outcome for her! Peace, Becca...you will be so missed by many.

Thank you for sharing, Chris.
Thank you for sharing, Chris. I am just in shock. She lived in the same town as me and we had talked on the phone re: radiation. I just cannot believe this. So incredibly sad. I would like to attach her beautiful, smiling face one more time for everyone.
I live in Indianapolis, just a few hours away.

Such sad news! Chris, thanks
Such sad news! Chris, thanks so much for letting us know. I agree, each loss takes a piece of our hearts with them.
Thanks NoTime for the picture. I always liked that one of her too.
I hope someday very soon, there truly is a cure for this and all other nasty cancers. Stay strong everyone!
Love and Hugs,
Cindi

Heartbroken and scared
I'm devastated by this news. May God rest her soul. She and I were going through therapy about the same time and had similar diagnosis although I don't have USPC, Stage3, Grade3 adenocarcinoma acts similar. Had my CT scan Thursday and seeing oncologist and surgeon tomorrow. I hate cancer. She was last online on August 17. I can't help but wonder what happened to our dear sister. My heart is broken.

Very sad
Becca,
May she rest in peace. I really thought she would beat this. She is in God's hands, as are we all.

No...
This is not possible, I am so sad.
I also look at forums here in France and this month many women have died.
I am angry with cancer

I was out of town and off the grid. Flying home yesterday I had a thought: wonder how Becca's doing, hope everything is OK. It was a strange random thought which certainly didn't prepare me for what I found when I got home. Godspeed, dear friend. This was FAR too soon and we're all the lesser without you. B
