More info
Thank you Chris. I went to Facebook and looked at her public pages. What a lovely woman! I don't mean to be a stalker but I then went to LinkedIn and found her. She had her PhD in anthropology. I did not find an obituary. I'm so sad. I hate cancer! We feel like we know each other but we just know about our cancers. We don't know about the very rich lives cancer took away.

Very True Cheese
So true Cheese. We know each other by our medical conditions but not much about the impact we have and make on our families, friends, co-workers, and the world. Very sad to hear about Becca. Mrs. Red and I always enjoyed her kind words and thoughts. RIP Dr. Becca.

Thank you SO MUCH, Chris. I live in Indianapolis and may just make the trip to pay my respects. It would be my honor to represent all you ladies.

but if you can that would be so meaningful. Our words and thoughts offer much but I often wish I could do more.

So devastated to hear this. :
So devastated to hear this. Becca was one of the women who had a similar diagnose as my mom, UPSC Stage IIIc2. Her diagnosis was about 4-5 months earlier and she went through much of the same journey as us. When she was NED in Dec 2016, I was so hopeful and encouraged, but within a few months after a clear CT scan, it seems like her cancer recurred with a vengeance. I just want to mourn right now because her passing is really hitting me hard. Fervent prayers to her family and friends.

Dear ladies. I just wanted
Dear ladies. I just wanted to let you all know I went down and had the chance to meet Rebecca's dad, sister, and aunt. What lovely people.
I told them who I was and why I was there. Her sister wanted me to make sure you all know how much Rebecca cherished us and her sister was so happy that she had found us.
It was my honor to represent you ladies and I wanted to let you know.

So very sorry to learn this
Hard to process the emotions when I learn that one of the women posting here has passed. From her posts it was clear that she was a very kind and caring woman. If only there had been some treatment that could have allowed her more time to enjoy life, family, friends. She so deserved it. Cancer is indeed a cruel disease!
